Uganda Safari to Kidepo Valley National Park (3 Days)

This is a 3 days wildlife tour to Kidepo Valley National Park, one of Uganda's best national parks for game viewing. Kidepo Valley National Park is located on Uganda’s border with Sudan and Kenya in the extreme corner in the Northeast of the country. Despite the fact that it is Uganda's most remote national park, Kidepo Valley National Park is worthy to visit given the immense tourism resources within this park. The park comprises of rolling savannah grassland and rugged spectacular mountain landscape. The park is accessible by road or by Air from Entebbe. You will board a charter flight from Entebbe and back.

TOUR ITINERARY - KIDEPO WILDLIFE SAFARI

Day 1: Transfer to Kidepo Valley National Park
You will be transferred to Entebbe International Airport to board a chartered light aircraft to Kidepo. Arrive at Apoka Lodge. After lunch, enjoy panoramic views of the Narus River Valley and photographic opportunities of wildlife from the verandah of the lodge. An evening game drive along the Narus River Valley for game Viewing and photography of Elephants, herds of Buffaloes, Jackals, Jackson’s Hartebeest, Klipspringer and possibly Lions. Dinner and overnight at Apoka Safari Lodge

Day 2: Game viewing Safari - Kidepo Valley National Park
After an early breakfast, go for morning game drive to Kanangorok hot spring. A variety of animals can be seen roaming around including Ostrich. Return to the lodge for lunch. In the afternoon have a cultural experience that will bring you in contact with Karamajong people at Karenna and Kapedo. Meet the local elders and have an opportunity to interact with them. They will show you the kraals, the grinding stones and many more interesting items. Return to the Apoka lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Guided Nature Walk - Return Trip to Kampala
After breakfast, enjoy a guided nature walk and after lunch, you will board a charter flight back to Entebbe.
